I need some changes made to my home, maybe an extension would be a good idea. Can you advise me on where to start?
Firstly it is a good idea to have a budget in mind. We can then go through any plans you may have and give you all the advice you need about your extension. We can go into more detail when we speak to you.
Can I see some of your previous work?
Yes of course you can. We get to know all our customers very well in the time that we are completing their project so they are only too happy to show off our work to potential customers.
How quickly can you start the work?
It really all depends on your requirements. It is probably best that you contact us and give us some more information. We can then give you a date for when the work can be started.
How do I get planning permission?
You can apply to your local council for planning permission. We will help you with the required documentation and can submit this along with the plans on your behalf. If planning permission is rejected, we will then alter the plans until planning permission is granted.
What will happen to all my furniture while the work is being carried out?
We do ensure that clean sheets will be used to cover your furniture and all flooring to protect them from the dust. We do suggest that you remove any valuables from the room just to be on the safe side.
How much will it cost to have an extension built?
We really cannot give you a price for an extension until we know exactly what you have in mind. There is the size to consider, what you would like the extension for, the electrics, if you need any plumbing or plastering carried out. All these things need to be taken into consideration so please contact us and we go can through all the plans you may have. We can then give you a no obligation quote to how much it will cost.
Will there be any additional expenses?
We try to include everything into our quote so you know exactly how much the work is going to cost. If something does arise then we will speak to you about it first. You may change your mind about something and this could cost more. We will keep you informed every step of the way.
